Mission: Clean Up and Composting

For this mission, the goal is  to deliver the octopus, press the button at the compost machine, save the turtle, and finally return the plastic bag to base. To be able to complete this mission, we had to design a specific attachment the robot would be able to move.
To make this attachment we had to make it so it would be able to securely transport the octopus, push the turtle and deliver the plastic bag. Below is the picture of the final result.

We chose this design because of its ability to do all of the required demands. When we started it was shorter and not as wide. We also added a sort of wall, so that the turtle didn't clamp his beak onto the arm and not come off.  Because of its shape it is able to successfully transport and pick up things by using the front motor on our robot.

  1. You really do a great job of adjusting your design in order for it to perform its function!

  2. Wow what a great project and think about all the other students, just like you working on the same issue. The lego website reports "In the 2015 FLL TRASH TREK Challenge, 290,000 children ages 9 to 16* from over 80 countries will explore the fascinating world of trash". Good Luck to the Black Diamond Llamas
